This bur is ideal for producing controlled facial depth grooves for veneer preparations of 0.4mm. Depth grooves are best made through a bisacryl (or similar) aesthetic pre-evaluative temporaries (after Gurel).
In addition, the rounded tip of this bur design is 1.5mm long and can be useful for gauging occlusal depth grooves. This bur is a medium grit.
