The E-Connect is a very good value and high quality endodontic motor and offers very good ergonomics for dentists who want the functionality of an apex locator connected motor but perhaps prefer a stand alone apex locator (with a nice big screen!) for hand files.

On it’s own the motor performs well and is compatible with all major file types (reciprocating & rotary files).

The real advantage of the E-Connect pro is that it can be connected to the E-PEX apex locator via a single lead.

This increases the functionality of the motor allowing functions like ‘Automatic start’, ‘Apical reverse’ and ‘Apical slow down.’

We find this set up very ergonomic as you can use the E-PEX for your hand files and then connect the motor.

We particularly like this set up because it means the motor is not directly connected to the patient so you don’t have to worry quite so much about where you put it down!

If you don’t require the functions from an apex locator connected motor then we would recommend the E-xtreme model. If you want a single unit with an apex locator included then look at the E-Connect S.
