This large ball burs primary use is to prepare the palatal surface of upper incisors during crown preparations 9we recommend preparing half the tooth at a time to help gauge the required reduction.. However the shape is also useful for general occlusal reduction for indirect preparations on the rare occasions that the Occlushaper bur cannot get to the correct angle.
This bur is a medium grit which is the coarseness we would recommend for initial preparation.
