We have wanted to provide a good (low cost) micro blaster with a water shroud for a long time.

The water shroud really helps to reduce mess during use and makes this unit stand out from the crowd.

There are so many microblasters on the market and we have spent the last 2 years testing various styles of microblasters and this is the one we ended up feeling we could recommend.

The sandblaster connects directly to a M4 or M6 hose. This makes it more universally available but may mean you have to swap out your high speed coupling to use the microblaster.

We have used these devices successfully with 50 and 27 micron aluminium oxide, Cojet sand and even sodium bicarbonate for polishing.

The sandblasters have lasted well and don't block as easily as other devices. The unit comes with 2 nozzles and these can be autoclaved between uses.   The body should never be autoclaved.

The Microblaster is a precision-engineered device that relies on correct operation and regular maintenance to perform at its best.  To ensure you achieve the best results and minimize the risk of issues, we strongly recommend watching our Maintenance and Troubleshooting Video below before using the unit.

Warranty Repairs
We offer a warranty covering one repair within a six-month period from the date of purchase. This repair is complimentary, provided it aligns with our warranty conditions. Additional repairs required during this period, or any repairs needed outside this six-month window, will be chargeable.

Replacement Parts
To support the longevity of your Microblaster, we stock a full range of replacement parts, including the body of the unit. This allows customers to replace components as needed, ensuring continued performance without the need to purchase a completely new device.

This is very very strong

The sandblaster is good because it connects with water, so it's a lot cleaner to use compared to the traditional sandblasters. However, there is no way to adjust the power of the sandblaster, and it's causing trauma to the gums when it's used, so I need to be very careful. Perhaps too strong for my liking so continuing to use the standard sandblaster without water.

Thank you for your feedback, Raj – we’re really pleased to hear you found the water integration helpful in keeping the work area cleaner compared to traditional sandblasters.

You're right that the power level on this unit isn’t adjustable. This is one of the trade-offs that helps keep the Microblaster affordable while still offering excellent efficiency. Units with variable pressure tend to be significantly more expensive and complex.

That said, it’s important the device suits your clinical application. If you’re using it for intraoral procedures near the gingiva, we’d recommend using a rubber dam to shield soft tissues and positioning the tip slightly further from the target surface. Many users also find that switching to a finer or softer powder, such as bicarbonate, can make a significant difference.

The Microblaster is a very effective unit for many applications, but as with any sandblaster, technique and powder choice are key to getting the most out of it safely.

Thanks again for your honest review – we hope these tips are helpful.
